This is my feature tune for the NS/Stick on the latest Rocket Scientist release “Refuel”. A fun video to shoot, great crew and craft services (food on the set). You can see my “ask for it by name” SLYDE technique using a carabiner between my fingers at 1:34 to act as a way to ‘slide’ on the string as well as tap. Works great on both NS and Stick instruments.

Fun behind the scene fact:
Ya know how I like to have good things to eat at sessions and videos… well on this last day of shooting (usually a good eatin’ day on sets) and ya think I’d be all smiley on camera from the sheer food excitement. However fate stepped in and my colonoscopy (Colonoscopy – 4 foot long tube with a camera on the end which is then stuck up your butt) ended up being scheduled the next day. My no smile look is helped by me wondering “just how large is that camera gonna be!”

I’m  5′ 9″… hmmm are we going in one end and coming out the other!!! On top of that thought the instruction are to not eat anything the day before. So, hungry and worried. Now play and look your best, “Roll ‘Em!”
